Das Team begrüßt Omar nach der Zieldurchfahrt

Auch die letzten Etappen der Dakar Rally 2015 haben die beiden verbliebenen SAM gut und ohne nennenswerte Probleme überstanden. Nach weiteren guten Platzierungen in den letzten Tagen konnte sich schließlich das Team mit der Startnummer 342 Rodrigo „Mamoro“ Moreno / Jorge „Coco“ Araya auf dem 20. Gesamtrang in die Ergebnislisten eintragen. Das SAM-Team mit der Startnummer 378,  Omar Campillay / Maurice Maurin erreichten bei ihrer ersten Teilnahme an der härtesten Rallye der Welt auf Anhieb das Ziel auf dem 56. Gesamtrang. In der gesonderten Wertung der Dieselfahrzeuge mit Allradantrieb, in der auch die komplette Armada des X-Raid Werksteams gerechnet wird, erreichten Moreno/Araya den 10. Platz und Campillay/Maurin den 14. Platz. Von den am 4. Januar in Buenos Aires gestarteten 143 Autos erreichten letztlich nur 67 die Zielrampe.

Wir beglückwünschen das gesamte Tamarugal XC Rally Team zur erfolgreichen Teilnahme an der Dakar Rally und ziehen den Hut vor der Leistung aller Beteiligten!

Both of the remaining SAM-race cars finished even the last stage of the 2015 Dakar Rally without any problems. After several good daily results during the last stages, the team with the race number 342, Rodrigo „Mamoro“ Moreno / Jorge „Coco“ Araya claimed the 20th overall position in the final results. The crew of the SAM car with race number 378,  Omar Campillay / Maurice Maurin finished their first Dakar experience on the 56th overall place. In the special rankings for the Diesel 4×4 cars, where also the X-raid factory teams are subject to, the crew Moreno/Araya finished on 10th position and Campillay/Maurin finished on 14th position. At January 4th startet 143 cars in Buenos Aires into the Dakar Rally, but only 67 competitors in the car category were able to claim the finish podium also.
